About Lisa Rife, MSW, LCSW

I bring over 20 years of experience working in different therapeutic capacities and settings. Earlier in my career, I worked in a transitional housing  facility on the West side of Chicago, supporting men and women exiting the IL State prison system. My work centered on helping adults rebuild their lives after incarceration through group support,  life skills development, working with entitlement programs and doing case management.

I have over a decade of experience in urban school-based and community mental health roles providing psychoeducation, clinical therapy & group work. My experience includes working as a clinician in health centers across Denver, CO, as well as serving as a mobile clinician conducting assessments in home and school settings. I have provided therapeutic support within specialized school environments and conducted evaluations for early childhood developmental delays. I’ve worked within the Colorado juvenile justice system, conducting court-ordered evals and assessments. I volunteered with HIV Alliance in Eugene, OR  where I was involved in community education and outreach focused on HIV prevention.

Throughout these roles, I worked closely with families, lawyers, hospitals and doctors to support the well-being of children, adolescents and adults. As my clinical interests evolved, my focus shifted toward private practice and solely focusing on individual work with adults.
